Do you forward e-mail's to friends if it says something good will happen within the hour.?

I have seen loads of these emails on sites like Pogo and playandwin why do they bother with them. its the same as the old fashoned chain letters where they say if you dont p this on to 5 people with in X amount of time then something bad will happen.
