Tried everything and cant get Dumerils to eat?

Maybe he doesn't like you watching him eat...like he is insecure or something...My dog wont eat unless I am not in the room with him. Stick a hopper in there and leave the room for a few hours, then come back and see if the hopper is gone...Never had a snake but that would be my best inexperienced guess....
