How long does the whole LAP BAND journey take?

I had my first consultation in July 2009, started nutrition cles in August '09, had my psychiatric evaluation in January '10, and had my surgery on March 25th 2010. So it was an 11 month process for me because I have an HMO plan. With PPO, it is only half the wait.
