Why do god believers continue to delude themselves?

What you see in the world is a reflection of your own inner space. Can you see that what you perceive to be a violent world is just a projection of the turmoil within you. Can you imagine what the world would be like if you could recognise the peace that is within you? Nothing is wrong, actually, but everything is perfectly placed to awaken you to who/what you truly are. The discontent and confusion that you experience will eventually lead you to question who you really are.
