Y do colors change in uv beads wen fluorescent lite shined on it how is related to uv transmission? HELPP!!?

Hi. The highest frequencies are at the blue and violet end of the visible spectrum. U/V sensitive materials absorb U/V and re-emit the light at a lower frequency that is visible. U/V means Ultra Violet, which is just beyond the range your eyes can detect.
