What is the difference between syntax and diction? Could someone give me examples?

Syntax refers to the clarity of communication by virtue of well chosen and well ordered words. It applies to both written and verbal expression. Diction refers to clarity of speech alone and depends not on words but the conditioning of the muscles that are used in the vocal production of sound.
