Such as get your required sciences and go a little further. Like, if 3 years of math is suggested, take all four, and take 3 years of a language instead of just two. This is because the only people looking at your High School grades are going to be colleges you want to attend. And since you're looking at the medical field you really do need to excel, not just good grades but great ones. Do the best in all your cles, and take some that may relate to medical sciences, such as an anatomy cl, but for the most parts, you won't learn anything majorly important in the medical field from high school.

Rottweiler 66 days pregnant!?

Our 3 year old dam is now 66 days pregnant with her first litter. We have consulted our vet & our breed mentor & they all say to give her a few more days to see if she whelps on her own. Proximity, or how close you are (literally) is very important in a friendship just like it is in a relationship, and if you'll hardly ever/ never see them again, there's no point. The friendship will never grow, you're just holding on to a dead one. It's hard letting go of a friend, really, but people come and go in your life and you should be glad you had the chance to meet them. Trying to keep everyone you've ever met is plain selfish anyways because there is only so much of yourself you can share with everyone.

Do kittens always turn into Thundercats during their first rainstorm?

Loud noises do startle cats and may cause them to run around like that, but I doubt that it will make them permanently afraid of thunderstorms. One of my cats takes off at any sudden noise and hides. The others pay no attention. Rosie (the scaredy cat) seems to have been permanently traumatized by other events. She was a tiny kitten, crying under my shrubbery when I found her. I took a couple of days putting out food and getting closer until she allowed me to pick her up and bring her inside. She was fine until a couple of weeks later. I was going on a trip and was getting ready to take her for boarding. I picked her up and suddenly she sensed that I was up to something and started slashing at me. I knew I wouldn't catch her again if I let go, so I hung on to her and got her into the carrier. When I arrived at the vet's and set her on the counter, the girl looked at my bleeding arms and said, with a perfectly straight face, "Would you like to have her declawed while she's here?" I don't believe in declawing and normally wouldn't, but I figured in her case it was probably necessary. She was friendly when I brought her home, but while preparing their food I stepped back and accidentally stepped on her paw. That was 4 or 5 years ago and she has remained very skittish ever since. That's kind of a long story, but it illustrates that you never know if a cat will retain their phobias. Most of them don't, but in her case, I have a cat who merely tolerates me.

Main combi 30 he boiler - frozen pipes?

We have a main combi 30 he boiler. As we have a young baby we usually got our heating constantly on low. However, we were out all day yesterday for christmas and made the stupid mistake of turning the heating off, then got home to what we think was a frozen condensate pipe. When we put the heating on the radiators did warm slightly for a minute or two, then the boiler cut out and we were left in the cold. As our condensate pipe exits the house high up, we spent ages going up and down the ladder pouring warm water over the pipes to defrost them. After a while we could hear crackling as if the ice was dislodging. But we still got no heating or hot water. I reset the boiler, it roars into life but I don’t think its actually igniting, you can hear as if its trying, but the light to show its ignited doesn’t come on, and after a while it kind of gives up and the error light flashes for 'flame failure or blocked condensate drain'. If anyone could advise us on anything we can try before calling someone out we would be very grateful. And sorry if my explanation sounds very basic, I really haven't got a clue about anything like this but if you need anymore info then I will try. Thank you so much in advance!

My mom is having health problems?

I'm really scared something bad might happen to my mom because of her health. My mom complained of chest pain a couple times this year and a month or so ago she got an ultrasound and they found gall stones. Will this turn into something bad eventually? Also about a few years ago she had to go into surgery because she had a very tiny thing in her but she is fine and it was not cancerous. Also she has trouble breathing sometimes if she bends down. Why could that be happening? she is not overweight or anything she is fit. She also just told my dad that last night she had very strong pain and that she felt she couldn't breathe. I don't know where exactly but she said that if she hadn't woken up at that moment she could have never woken in up in the morning and she might have been dead. This really scares me to the point that I want to cry. What could be wrong with my mom? she also works two jobs in one she works about 9 to sometimes 10 hours about 5 days a week and in a part time at night 5 days a week also till about 9 at night could this also be bad for her. My partner, so children's step father deals with any issues the same as I would, we all have to live in the household together having said that he's fully aware of my views on things and works to that. As regards to making up new rules without consulting then whether they are a step family or a biological family that should be a big no no in any case, you can't change the boundaries without discussing it first it doesn't lead to cohesive parenting which is the most important thing. Mom shouldn't say no if dad said yes in any family again you have to support each others decisions and discuss them privately if you feel they are wrong not go against each other or the children will pick up on it and just play you off each other. He can give punishments for wrongdoing the same as I would and we then support each other on the decision, we'll also reward as well equally.

I am an adult in my mid twenties and I have an relationship issues with my teenage sibling and parents?

I took enough child development and psychology courses in college to know that birth order has a lot to do with our issues but I believe this goes beyond that. My 15 year old sister has a horrible attitude problem. She's very disrespectful to both of my parents and they don't seem to stand up for themselves. Most of the time they excuse her actions because she's "just a teenager" or because she gets good grades. Because of our age difference I was very much a third parent to her while she was growing up. I was much more involved in her life than my parents were, even going as far as being the one who attended her school conferences. I naively believed that she would be more appreciative of me as she came into adolescence. My husband, 18 month old toddler and I recently had to move back in with my parents due to some financial difficulties. I am very grateful to them and realize I'm lucky they are in the position and willing to help us get back on our feet. I have been clearly told by both of my parents that I cannot discipline my sister or judge how they chose to discipline her. That's fair she's not my daughter but I do feel I should at the very least respected. Today in front of a group of family and friends I asked for my sister to check on my little girl for me and her response was "you're her mom" I took the bait and argued back when I knew I shouldn't have and told her I was NOT her mom when she was a child but I was still very attentive to her as a child. I know its pointless to argue with a teenager but this has been building for sometime now. I've talked to both parents on seperate occasions and they have come to the concensus that I am too hard on my sister and am too sensitive in general. My husband is my voice of reason, he tells me to ignore my family when they behave in unreasonable ways but I have done this so many times I feel like I'm at a breaking point and don't know what to do. Well it could be so many different things. Ringworm could still be possible sometimes it is not seen with the naked eye, the vet will use an ultraviolet light to see if it is ringworm. It could also be diet issues. Pruina is a good food that has also been reccomended by my vet. Fleas also will cause scabbing and hairloss. Just keep a close eye on it. If it continues to get worse and is losing hair fast, call the vet as soon as possible, most places will work with you if you have good standing. I hope this helps.

Question about shooting cervical pain at 34 weeks pregnant?

I am 34w2d pregnant. I called the nurse hotline last night about this shooting pain I keep feeling in my cervix, but she wouldnt listen to me and I dont think she really understood what I was saying. Last night, any time I would stand up for any reason, like when I got food in the kitchen, I would get these shooting pains in my lower abs, and it felt like it was in my cervix. When I sat down, I didnt have shootiing pains anymore, but felt a ton of pressure the whole time. The nurse kept saying it was braxton hicks... I know what braxton hicks feel like for me, and its not a shooting pain, she said they change the further along you are, which I am aware of, but I KNOW this is not braxton hicks! I would pretty much recommend a DSLR too, if possible. Save an extra couple hundred dollars and get it, even if you have to wait a bit more. Weird noise in lungs, but dry cough?

i had the flu and a dry cough because of my throat being irritated last week. then the dry cough turned into some phlegm, but that again went away. now i have no fever or any other symptoms, just this cough and my lungs are making a weird rattling noise at the ends of my inhalations and exhalations. i'm like, voluntarily coughing, it's not a reflex, to try to get this sound out. it works sometimes, but it's been like this for a few days. thoughts?

I agree, phelps is the best in the world. But it is not even fair to compare for him to be the best swimmer there ever was, because technology has enhanced pools, and suits for the fastest times possible. Why is my 3 year old dog acting as if he is teething again?

He is a tibetan mastiff/eurasier mix and has calmed down a mive amount since I first got him in 06. he stopped trying to teeth on me and others around 1.5 years old, but still liked to chew on peices of wood. Does anyone think system requirements given on PC games are specious?

I have bought PC games that should have been able to play on my computer. They start out like they might play, then they start lugging down and become choppy and unplayable. I am not talking about just having minimum system requirements either. My computer meets the "required" system stats for a game, and still I have trouble. I am mainly referring to ram, processor, and video card requirements. And yes, I have Direct X 9, a decent sound card, and enough hard drive space. Going to lower resolution and reducing requirements about detail and shadowing, etc. seems to provide only a temporary fix, if any (I do like a good graphics, and avoid stuff like that if I can). Cat has yellow rice like squishy objects on fur?

My kitten has squishy yellow rice like things on her fur. They dry into small hard orangish-brown grains with a slightly black head. None of the yellow grains are found around her rear, and I can't find more than 1 or 2 when I search her fur, but I found 30+ dried grains on her bed this morning just from overnight. I can't tell if she's itchier than usual, but she has always been a skinny cat and I'm worried about parasites (not to mention she likes to sneak onto my pillow at night after I've fallen asleep). They show up mostly where she's been lying down, though every now and then one will fall off when she's moving. I don't know where they're coming from her because I rarely can find the grains until they've fallen off and dried up.
